Motivated women (55+) meet every other Wednesday, 12:30 - 2:00 PM PT, now with shelter-in-place, online via secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom. We currently have an opening! Women have been meeting since 2016 to address any issue and explore any issue relevant to their lives. Such issues include the following:
COVID isolation and lifestyle change, relationships, loss, trauma, difficult transitions, caregiving, mothers to adult children, women living alone, family of origin, self-care, work, helpful life skills (communication, boundary-setting), sociopolitical concerns, meaning of life and practical issues. Women also discuss "here-and-now" experiences in group, asking for what they need from others, expressing themselves with their commonalities and differences.
Women in group are deeply caring and respectful of each other as they listen, validate and acknowledge. Women gain mutual support, learn how others have coped, discover practical solutions, find options for change with opportunities for healing and growth.
An individual 55-minute consultation is requested so I can learn of a woman's history, needs, and goals, and she can learn more of the group and gain a sense of my style.
Please email me: [email protected] or phone: 415-785-3513 if interested.
